Justice40 Briefing 1:00pm – 3:00pm with catered lunch.
The Kansas City Tour is hosted by CleanAirNow, a community-led organization that creates systemic change in existing policies and practices to protect health, and dismantle environmental racism that perpetuates the unequal distribution of environmental hazards in fenceline communities. We have identified community solutions to ensure infrastructure investments are prioritized in Kansas City Neighborhoods.

The overarching goal of this community tour will be to: raise awareness of Justice40 investments in the Infrastructure Investments and Jobs Act and Inflation Reduction Act; spotlight community advocacy and environmental justice leadership; and engage with city, county, state and federal officials to ensure IIJA/IRA Justice40 investments reach communities that need them most.
